    The company was founded by German engineers Karl Benz and Gottlieb Daimler. Although their designs were ultimately not successful, their work was still influential and provided a stepping stone for future automotive design.

    Ransom Olds & Henry Ford

    Ransom Eli Olds was the founder of Oldsmobile, the first mass-produced car in the United States. Olds focused heavily on internal combustion engine design and pioneered the concept of offering customers a selection of vehicle types and adjusting the design of those types to make them more attractive or practical.

    Henry Ford revolutionized the way cars were produced with the introduction of the first Model T in 1908.     Raymond & Charles Mastro
